Meadow Reclamation

An old patio was saved from the landfill and upcycled into a retaining wall, making room for a sunken meadow. The low maintenance, low water grass captures rainfall and lets it sink into the ground, filtering and recharging groundwater. A new deck, fountain, and fire ring with custom benches create lots of places to hang out for the family.
